Arleen F. Walther

Commissioner Arleen F. Walther is a registered public purchasing official and qualified purchasing agent for the Township of North Bergen, where she has also served in various capacities in the revenue and finance department and the public affairs department. Prior to working for North Bergen, Commissioner Walther was assistant office manager and assistant to the president at Local 144, SEIV of the AFL-CIO, for 34 years.

Commissioner Walther served as a member of  the U.S. Selective Service Board for Hudson County and the North Bergen Handicap Parking Board. She graduated from St. Anthony’s Commercial High School in New York City and attended Rutgers University for several professional certification programs. Ms. Walther resides in North Bergen and has one son, Robert.
