Jay C. Nadel

Commissioner Jay C. Nadel is an independent consultant in the financial services industry and serves as Chairman of the Board of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. He is also a member of the board of directors of Lapolla Industries, a publicly traded company that makes foam insulation and other coatings, where he is chairman of the audit committee.

Commissioner Nadel was formerly executive vice president of Bank of New York’s Clearing Services Division, where he was a member of the executive committee and supervised strategic planning. He was also a partner in the investment firm of Weiss, Peck & Greer, where he was chairman of the operations committee and managing director of the firm’s Clearing Services Division. He also worked in the management group of global accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick.

Commissioner Nadel holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland. He lives in Demarest with his wife Beth and their three children and is a sports coach for the Demarest Athletic Association.
