Commissioner DeGennaro is an executive committee member and past president of the Directors of Athletics Association of New Jersey and the Hudson County Interscholastic Athletic Association. He also serves as a member of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association and as a member of the North Jersey Tri-County Conference.
In addition, Commissioner DeGennaro is a former executive committee member of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association and a former assistant boys basketball coach at Hoboken High School. He is the former chairperson of the facilities committee for the Hoboken High School Middle States Evaluation Team.
Commissioner DeGennaro received his master’s degree in administration and supervision from Saint Peter’s College of Jersey City and his bachelor’s degree in secondary education/biological sciences from New Jersey City University. He resides in Secaucus with his wife, Josephine, and their two children. |
