Thomas Quirico

Commissioner Thomas Quirico is an attorney specializing in construction law, labor law, contracts, real estate and bankruptcy. He also serves as the municipal prosecutor in Ridgefield Park and as counsel to the Bergen County Sheriff. Previously he was a private investigator and a detective sergeant in the Orange Police Department.

 

Commissioner Quirico was mayor of Little Ferry from 2000-2008. Previously he was a Borough Councilman for 10 years and served as police commissioner and chairman of the building, transportation and welfare departments. He is a former public defender in Ridgefield Park and former municipal prosecutor in Bogota, where he also served as temporary borough administrator.

A U.S. Army Veteran, Commissioner Quirico received his law degree from Seton Hall University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University.  He is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the Italian American Police Society of New Jersey.

 Commissioner Quirico resides in Little Ferry with his wife, Phyllis. They have three children and one grandchild.
