New Bilingual Summer Camp for 2008

Hopping Through Habitats/Explorando Nuestro Ambiente (Spanish/English Session) - August 4-8, 9:00am-2:00pm, Students entering grades 3&4, $150 per child.

Additional camps with space still available:

July 14-18 - Upstream, Downstream (entering grades 5&6) and Water, Water, Everywhere (entering grades 7&8), $150 per child.

FUTURE ASTRONOMY EVENTS

Sunday, May 25th - Mars: Phoenix Landing, 6:00-9:00pm. (Presentation one hour, extra time allotted for Q&A, and guided tour of the William D. McDowell Observatory.)

The Phoenix landing will be viewed live on NASA TV during the lecture. Join us as we watch in suspense to see if our lander will arrive safely on Mars and ring in another victory for the human spirit of exploration.

All Ages. $5 public, members FREE. Pre-registration required. Attendance limited to 50 participants. To register by phone for this event, please call 201-777-2431. Online registration is available.

Saturday, June 10th - MRO - Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, 11:30am-2:00pm. Online registration is available.

Saturday, June 21st - SOHO Summer Solstice and the Sun, 1:00pm. 11:30am-2:00pm. Online registration is available.
