New Jersey Meadowlands Business Accelerator

Welcome to the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission Business Accelerator website.  The NJMC is dedicated to economic growth and attracting well-paid jobs to the Meadowlands District, while also protecting the environment. The creation of the NJMC Business Accelerator, which is focused on “green” businesses, supports these goals and fits well with Governor Corzine’s Energy Master Plan and his Economic Growth Strategy for the State of New Jersey.

The Business Accelerator, which opened in October of 2008, is supported by a three-year,
$1.5 million commitment from NJMC. The Accelerator is designed to assist early-stage entrepreneurial companies developing alternate and renewable energy solutions, technologies, services and products. The Accelerator will assist the entrepreneurs selected with writing business plans, accessing capital, navigating government agencies, workforce training, technical support and networking. Collaborations with the NJMC and local colleges and universities will greatly enhance these opportunities.
