MUNICIPAL EQUIPMENT POOL:

The NJMC provides camera truck and sewer jet-vac truck services to the Meadowlands District municipalities to address sewer line, storm line, and other related problems.  The equipment is purchased, maintained and staffed by the NJMC at no cost to taxpayers.  The camera truck is capable of taking video footage of sewer lines for municipalities.  The jet-vac truck is capable of removing debris that may be clogging sewer lines or storm drains. It is required that representatives from the hosting municipality be present during this work.  

Vac Truck and Camera Truck Specs

The NJMC Camera Truck can inspect lines from six inches to more than fifty inches, penetrating up to 1,000 feet into the line.

The NJMC Vac Truck has a tank capacity of 2,250 gallons with a pipe capacity of 2 inches to maximum size. The jet line depth is 500 feet with a vacuum depth of 30 feet. The jetting pressure can go to 2100 psi.

Both trucks can be utilized for work in each of the Districts municipality. The entire municipality is eligible regardless of the District Boundary.  Reservations for this equipment should be made online at http://meri.njmeadowlands.gov/mti/  or contact Paula Speers at 201-460-4537.
